The Portage Township YMCA hosts before and after school childcare (Y-Care) at three school sites in the Portage Township School District. 
The program hours are 6:30am to 6:00pm. All children in Y-Care must have a primary membership at the YMCA, a cost of $70 per year for elementary school students. The YMCA offers scholarships to help parents pay for childcare. The scholarship covers the membership to the YMCA for the school year and up to 50% off weekly program costs, based on a sliding scale. The YMCA also accepts Hoosier Childcare CCDF vouchers. Please contact the Portage Township YMCA for your school-aged childcare needs.
