Advanced Dental Concepts celebrated the official grand opening of their Chesterton location on Tuesday evening, with a ribbon cutting and open house for the Duneland Chamber of Commerce. The ADC team started seeing patients in Chesterton in January 2020, while also working on extensive remodeling and improvements.
ADC Chesterton is the family dentistry’s third office, following their locations in Crown Point and Portage. A fourth location in Dyer is set to open this summer. Dr. Danny Hayes, DMD and owner of Advanced Dental Concepts, said that the Chesterton area was a natural, exciting community to expand into.
“Chesterton’s always been known as a very family-oriented community,” he said. “It’s very close-knit, and the people here are loyal to their local businesses. The school system is fantastic and cares about their kids. We’re just happy to be a part of all of that.”
The renovations provide both a modern, inviting look, and all the tools the ADC team needs to offer comprehensive treatment – they complete roughly 95 percent of procedures in-house.
“We provide complete family dentistry for patients of all ages, including cosmetic and implant dentistry,” Hayes said. “Patients don’t have to go from office to office to get the treatment they need. The cornerstone of our practice has always been customer service and satisfaction. We go above and beyond to make sure our patients feel like this is their home, and we’re here to serve them.
The team at ADC Chesterton is led by Dr. Stephen Koveck, DDS, who works under a philosophy of professional, compassionate, patient-first care.
“It’s about being honest, sincere, and showing empathy with every patient,” Koveck said. “One of the most important things we can do in this industry is to build relationships with our patients. It’s our job to support them, and make sure they’re comfortable getting the treatment they need.”
Other team members, such as the dental assistants and hygienists are excited to be meeting new patients.
“They’ve been really positive and welcoming,” said Laura Horton, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. “I’m from the Chesterton community, so it’s exciting to see the community come together as we officially open after a year of service.”
Anna Crowley, also an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, is excited to show patients what the team can do.
“Our team is so close, it’s like we’re friends walking into work,” she said. “I think patients can tell that we’re all one big team here to help them and have a good time, and that really helps them relax.”
With the ribbon cut and renovations nearly complete, Hayes is excited to meet more new patients.
“We’re here to serve this community in the best way we possibly can,” he said. “We’re always accepting new patients and always will be, and we’re thrilled to continue serving this community in a positive way for years to come.”
