Advance tickets are on sale now for Northwest Indiana’s premier garden walk held on Sat., June 27, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CDT. Six beautiful home gardens and one public garden will be showcased, all in and around Valparaiso, in Porter County Indiana. A self-irrigating, raised-bed mini hoop house vegetable garden joins a large Japanese inspired garden; a peaceful shade garden accented with repurposed architectural features; and three unique gardens all in a row, a collaborative effort by the homeowners to enhance the natural beauty of their neighborhood.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and explain plantings at each location. There will be door prize drawings at every garden. The event is sponsored annually by the Porter County Master Gardeners Association and Purdue Extension Porter County.
