April 2, 2015 was the beginning of the 2015 Portage Elementary Art Show. Each Portage elementary school submits approximately 40 piece of art work to be on display at the Portage Library. There was a reception for the artists and their families to come and view their displayed art work and enjoy refreshments. There was a great turn out. The Mayor of Portage, James Snyder and Dr. Richard Weigel, the Portage Township Schools superintendent, also came to enjoy the show. The art show will be on display in the Portage Library from now until April 30th.
