Ninety-five area high school students will be inducted into the Porter County Technology Honor Society.
The event will take place Tuesday, May 6 in the Wheeler High School auditorium starting at 7 p.m.
The juniors and seniors represent the best of the 1,100 or so students in 35 career and technical programs across Porter County and Hobart. They were chosen for their outstanding class performance and citizenship. They were endorsed by their high school's administration.
Schools in the district include Boone Grove, Chesterton, Hebron, Hobart, Kouts, Morgan Township, Portage, Valparaiso, Washington Township and Wheeler.
