10 IEFC Teams Head to Cup Championship Games

10 IEFC Teams Head to Cup Championship Games

School is almost out in the region. It’s that wonderful time of year where you can forget about homework and work as you begin to plan some much needed rest and relaxation. Beaches, theme parks and hotels all see an influx of individuals and families looking to get away from anything that even remotely resembles school or work.

Yet, for Indiana Elite FC soccer players, this spring has been one of hard work, dedication and teamwork, with or without the full support of Mother Nature. In the IEFC boys division, after the Indiana Cup Qualifying Games, 7 teams placed in the top 4 for their age group in the state of Indiana: U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17.

In addition, because of each team’s dedication, coupled with a top-level coaching staff, 10 Indiana Elite FC teams have advanced to the semi-finals and finals, vying for 3 distinguished cups in each division: Presidents Cup, Challenge Cup, and the highly sought-after Indiana State Cup. All games will be held June 1-3 at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, IN.

Indiana State Cup
Only the top ranked U13-U19 Indiana teams are selected to participate in the Indiana State Cup. Indiana Elite FC had 6 teams qualify to compete and 5 teams that will move forward to compete in the semi-finals; U13 boys, U14 boys, U15 boys, U16 boys and U17 boys. Semi-Final winners will move on to the State Finals with State Champions advancing to the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Region II event, then on to the National Finals.

Indiana Elite FC had 4 teams compete and advance in the Presidents Cup: the U11 and U12 boys teams, and the U16 and U18 girls teams. These top IEFC teams will move on to the semifinals and finals in their divisions.

Champions (U16, U18) will advance to the US Youth Soccer Midwest President Cup, then on to the National Finals.

Challenge Cup
Indiana Soccer’s Challenge Cup is a championship tournament open to teams from the state of Indiana. Indiana Elite FC’s U12 Girls advanced to the Quarter ,semifinals and finals in their divisions.

Many IEFC players keep the momentum of discipline and teamwork alive in the off-season. The hard work and dedication of these athletes is tested by putting in the extra time and preparing for their spring competitions. Participating in these tournaments is what sets them up for future success as student athletes.

Indiana Elite FC is dedicated to challenging soccer players to achieve success on and off the field through professional-level training and educational initiatives to engage and support the whole student-athlete. With some of the top professional coaches in the area, our teams have been showcased throughout the Midwest and across the country, competing in places such as Las Vegas, Arizona, Dallas, and Florida. IEFC is 1 of two clubs in the state of Indiana participating in the National Premier League (NPL), and is affiliated with the MRL, the USL’s exclusive Super Y League, Indiana Soccer League, and the Northern Illinois Soccer League.
