Let's talk hawks! Join us to meet one of our longest standing ambassadors, our female Red-tailed Hawk as well as one of our newest, our Rough-legged Hawk. During this program we will be learning about hawks that can be found in Indiana throughout the year, where to look for them, and how we can help protect these incredible predators. All ages welcome.

Join Mayor David Uran and the City of Crown Point for the 12th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festivities!Festivities begin with the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner at the Fire Station located at 124 N East St. The dinner is from 2-6pm.The cost is $10 per Adult meal, $9 for seniors, $6.50 for kids dinner, $4 Kids Hot Dog Meal. The corned beef and cabbage dinner includes: 7 oz of braised corned beef, cabbage, carrots, roasted red potatoes, bread & butter, dessert and a soda or water.

Gibson Woods Nature Preserve - Hammond, IN
The excitement of spring bird migration will soon be upon us. Join a park naturalist and fellow bird enthusiasts to learn more about what birds will be moving through our area. A video and slide show about sparrows and finches will be offered. The presentations will feature many tips on identification. Designed for ages 12 and up.
