Skate all winter long at the William E. Urschel Pavilion during the open skate times! 

Towle Theatre 2016 Season Preview
Catch a glimpse of the upcoming shows in our 13th season! On Friday and Saturday enjoy a reception with light snack at 7:00 with the preview performance starting at 8:00 and Sunday the reception begins at 1:00 and show at 2:00. Reservations are required as this event typically sells out. Call 219-937-8780. $5 for 2016 subscribers and $10 for non-subscribers - however if you buy a season ticket at the preview we will take $5 off of your subscription. (One $5 discount per person per season ticket.) 

Dunes Learning Center Winter Open House
Enjoy a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities led by Dunes Learning Center’s team of knowledgeable naturalists at this family-friendly event. Nature crafts, snowshoe hikes, an indoor campfire sing-along, hot cocoa and cookies will make for a memorable day in the dunes. Free registration and more information at DunesLearningCenter.org. 

Sip & Scrap
Bring your own ideas and supplies to Running Vines Winery and enjoy some wine while you scrapbook. Price includes tasting, light snacks, table space, and use of cricut.

Long Johns On Winter Warmer Bash
Join us Saturday, January 9th from 1-5pm CST for our first ever Long Johns On Winter Warmer Bash. $15.00/ticket includes one free beer and live music all afternoon. Food available for purchase. 

Bernard Williams, Edra Soto and Chris Silva's exhibitions at Lubeznik Center for the Arts
Join the Lubeznik Center For the Arts exhibitions Bernard Williams, Edra Soto, and Chris Silva. Edra Soto: Tropicalamerican features a series of flags and chairs that are made by applying traditional crafting techniques to untraditional formats. Bernard Williams: Hard Driving features installations that frame American culture in relation to the automobile, unequal competition, and excessive consumption. Chris Silva: Human Mess features an array of mixed media work. 

LEGO Club
The LEGO Club is entirely FREE to join. Lego Club is for LEGO fans ages 5 years and up . While using their imagination, the kids are able to be master builders and construct projects themed for the days event. On top of being master builders Lego Club is full of games, projects, and activities ALL involving LEGOS. Prizes are given out at every event, and all kids go home with a treat. Our January 9th event will run from 1pm to 3pm with a Ships Ahoy theme the children will construct boats that will be be tested in water for their floating ability. So come one, come all! Boys and girls are all invited to Lego Club! See you there!! 

Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular: Birthday Edition
The Elvis Tribute is a concert celebrating the music of Elvis Presley, the greatest entertainer of all time. The show begins with the early rock-a-billy years and continues era by era ending with the Las Vegas and concert years. This year's line up consists of the best Elvis entertainers in the world, Shawn Klush, Cody Ray Slaughter and Ryan Pelton. Special guests include Rock & Roll Hall of Famer DJ Fontana, The Sweet Inspirations from the 2014 R&B Hall of Fame, eight time grammy award winning vocal group The Blackwood Quartet and the Fabulous Ambassadors band. This is a show you won't want to miss! 

Festival of Lights Michigan City
Over five million individual bulbs light up a variety of holiday and traditional displays that are truly a sight to behold! It is the largest free drive-through light exhibit in the Midwest. This has been an annual event for over 20 years at Washington Park. 

Movies at the Portage 16 IMAX
It's cold outside, but it's warm inside the Portage 16 IMAX. Check out The Forest, Leonardo Di Caprio is great in The Revenant, an all-star cast rocks it in The Big Short, and of course Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a favorite and would be an awesome movie to see anytime.
