March 9 6:30pm: Bunco Fundraiser at Calvary Church
Cavalry Church is raising funds for “With Every Child Ministries” with their Bunco Party! There will be raffles, dinner, and entertainment!
March 10: Magic & Mischief at The Market
Event includes live/silent auctions, raffles, dancing & a special performance of The Mind Tripping Show. The Mind Tripping Show is an interactive comedy with a psychological twist. The show is a combination of mind-bending adventures and pure fun. The Mind Tripping Show is the longest running live theatre show in Indianapolis.
March 10: Soup and Salad Luncheon at First Presbyterian Church of Portage
First Presbyterian Church of Portage, 6225 Lute Road, Portage, IN, is having their annual Soup and Salad Luncheon on Sat., Mar. 10, from 11 am-2 pm. Come and enjoy a large variety of homemade soups, tossed salad, bread, dessert, and beverage. Cost $8 age 11-adult, $4 age 5-10. Proceeds to benefit the ministry of the church.
March 10: Portage Township Live Entertainment Association Presents: The Northsiders Barbershop Quartet at Portage High School by Portage Township Live Entertainment
Get in tune with great entertainment, right here in Portage, Indiana! Founded in 2013, the Chicago-based, award-winning Northsiders Barbershop Quartet is dynamic and high-energy! This male a cappella foursome has become the premier barbershop quartet in the CIty of Chicago, winning many accolades, including 2nd place in the 2017 Harmony Sweepstakes, Chicago Regional.
March 9-11: 2018 Porter County Home Improvement Market at Porter County Fairgrounds and Expo Center by Home Builders Association of Northwest Indiana
The show offers a terrific opportunity for exhibitors and homeowners to connect. Visitors attend each year looking to save time and money by meeting face-to-face with established local experts, tradespersons and contractors who take pride in their work and the services they offer.
March 9: Crown Point 2018 Little Dribblers Winter Basketball at Franciscan Point Sport Medicine by City of Crown Point
Crown Point Parks and Recreation Department have announced the registration for their Little Dribblers pre-school to third grade youth winter basketball program. All Little Dribblers sessions will be held on Friday’s for eight weeks starting January 19th, to March 9, 2018.
March 11: Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation Annual St. Baldrick’s Event at International Union of Operating Engineers - Lakeville by Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation
The Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation will host the 7th annual St. Baldrick’s Event at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 on Sunday, March 11 from noon to 4 p.m. The NICK Foundation’s goal is to raise $50,000 this year. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation uses the proceeds to provide funds for pediatric cancer research grants.
March 10: Wild Women and Wine Returns to Barker Mansion at Barker Mansion
The public is invited to celebrate Women’s History Month at the Barker Mansion on Saturday, March 10. Back and revamped for it’s second year, Wild Women and Wine will highlight the unconventional women who have shaped Northwest Indiana history through the decades!
March 10: Michigan City Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Saint Patrick’s Day Parade hosted by the Michigan City Mainstreet Association will be celebrated in Michigan City on Sat, March 10, 2018. The parade starts at 1pm, stepping off from 10th Street, marching north on Franklin Street and ending at 4th Street.
March 11: La Porte County Symphony Orchestra: Fantasia at Holdcraft Performing Arts Center - Michigan City by La Porte County Symphony Orchestra
Our classical concert will bring Peter Boyer's, The Dream Lives On, a portrait of the Kennedy Brothers. High-profile narrators will present three iconic speeches of John, Robert & Ted Kennedy set to a backdrop of classical triumph including choral flair. Other works include Symphony in E by Arthur Sullivan, Korngold's, Much Ado about Nothing Suite, & more!
