On May 5, 2012 come join the BMX community for an evening of racing out at the home of the ABA BMX 2011 Hoosier Nationals. Registration for racing is 5:00pm-6:30pm with racing immediately following. Fees for racing are $10 Class or Cruiser, $5 for Opens. Reduced fees for multiple bikes. Rental bikes and helmets are available. USABMX memberships are required to race and are available at registration.
Racing for ALL ages and proficiencies. A way to get the family outside and spending time together! Cheaper and more exciting than a night at the movies because spectators are ALWAYS FREE!
As we anxiously await the 2012 Olympics the BMX community is gearing up for their summer bicycle competitions. Imagination Glen BMX track will be hosting future races for Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Olympic Day, and the Indiana State Racing Series. The track was started in 2000 and has provided numerous levels of competition for thousands of kids and adults alike. The track is sponsored by the Portage Parks Dept., and is fully staffed with volunteers. This track was reconfigured last year for the Hoosier Nationals and has been meticulously groomed and dialed in for the 2012 season.
