The Valparaiso Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officer. Applicants must complete the application via PoliceApp.com or at www.valparaisopolice.org. The minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity are, applicant: must be 21—40 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED, be a United States Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have no prior felony convictions.

A lateral transfer program (salary/vacation) is also available to qualified ap plicants; however, participation in the testing phase is mandatory for em ployment consideration.
All applications must be returned no later than 4:00pm on August 26, 2024 to be considered for the scheduled agility/written tests. The current testing options are September 18, 2024 at 5:00pm, as well as September 21, 2024 at 8:00am. All testing will be conducted at the Valparaiso Police Department.
