The 39th Helping Hands Award Dinner will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at the Hilton Garden Inn's Gillespie Center with a cocktail reception beginning at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 7:00pm. This year's Helping Hands award recipient is Father Edward "Monk" Malloy, C.S.C., former President of the University of Notre Dame and a constant advocate for social justice and equality.
Father Malloy, a force for good in our community – and around the world – is a model of compassion and dedication. The 16th President of the University of Notre Dame, Monk transformed the institution into a beacon of service-oriented education. Under his leadership, Notre Dame expanded its outreach programs, emphasizing the importance of giving back to society.
Father Malloy's legacy reminds us all of our responsibility to help those in need. Your support of this year's Helping Hands Award Dinner will help Center for Hospice Care improve the quality of living for those with serious, advanced illnesses – and their families – in the communities we serve.
