Cardiologist Islam Badawy, DO, is now part of the Franciscan Physician Network and is accepting new patients in Crown Point.
Dr. Badawy is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology. He attended Midwestern University School of Medicine in Downers Grove, Ill. and completed his residency at Midwestern University/Franciscan Health in Olympia Fields in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine.
He completed additional residency training in advanced cardiac imaging at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Ill.
Dr. Badawy’s clinical interests include general cardiology; coronary angiography; intervention and high-risk PCI; percutaneous LV mechanical support devices; peripheral angiography and intervention; venogram and venoplasty and catheter assisted thrombolysis.
Dr. Badawy is accepting new patients at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Crown Point in the Burrell Professional Building at 1205 S. Main Street, Suite 101 in Crown Point.
