IU Northwest announces faculty promotion and tenure, and awards

Indiana University Northwest is proud to announce several promotions and tenure, as well as campus awards to faculty from various disciplines.

Promotions:

Seven IU Northwest faculty members received approval for promotion and/or tenure starting in the 2023-24 academic year by the Indiana University Board of Trustees. Their promotions are effective July 1, 2023.

Promoted with Tenure:

  • Chae Young Chang, Associate Professor, Public and Environmental Affairs 
  • Jen Fisher, Associate Professor, Biology
  • Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford, Associate Professor, Fine Arts 
  • Daniele Rosso, Associate Professor, Mathematics and Actuarial Science 

Promoted:

  • Gianluca DiMuzio, Professor, History, Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies 
  • Harold Olivey, Clinical Associate Professor, Biology 
  • Dorinda Sattler, Clinical Associate Professor, Health Information Management 

Awards:

IU Northwest professors are leading experts, award-winning educators and teacher scholars. To recognize their work, the campus was proud to distribute 12 teaching, research and service awards during the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
