Your favorite summer festival is back – for the 39th year!

Your favorite summer event is back -Lubeznik Arts Festival, August 21 and 22!Last summer, LCA sadly had to cancel the popular Lubeznik Arts Festival (LAF), but are more excited than ever about holding the 39th annual festival on August 21 and 22, 2021!

The festival draws children and adults from the Northwest Indiana region and beyond to LCA’s grounds and galleries. Festival goers enjoy fine arts and crafts, family art making experiences, live entertainment and delicious food. LCA hopes to see more than 3,000 visitors over the course of the two-day festival!

Come Saturday, August 21 from and get first pick of the wonderful art on display! Saturday will also feature a live performance by the Surabhi Ensemble, composed of musicians of many races and ethnicities. Their music blends Indian, Middle Eastern and Spanish flamenco influences. Or attend Free Family Sunday on August 22 when admission to the festival is free, thanks to the generous sponsorship by McDonalds of LaPorte County. Sunday will also feature a community fashion show. While you are there, view the exhibition: Bramson / Indiana / Lake in the LCA galleries. Admission to LCA’s galleries is free and open to all, six (6) days a week, because accessibility is at the heart of the LCA mission. Janet Bloch, Executive Director, says “We are proud that our community recognizes LCA as a driver of economic development and tourism thanks in part to the festival. We love to share our passion for art with old and new friends in the area.”

LAF is one of the highlights of summer in the region, however, we simply could not offer an event of this scope without the help of our community partners,” notes festival planning committee co-chair Shannon Denny. “We are thrilled that McDonald’s of LaPorte County is sponsoring Free Family Sunday. They are the perfect partner for Lubeznik Center to show the community our appreciation!”LCA acknowledges the generosity of 1st Source Bank, Bulk Equipment Corp, Monosol and NIPSCO/NiSource for their long time support.
