Zack Fillippo and Evan Gerike pitched very well for the 9’s.  The 9’s beat Hobart 9u and competed valiantly against the Chesterton Cougars in the championship game.    Chesterton won 14 -6.    Short Stop Preston Tabor suffered an ankle injury but the prognosis is good.  Get well soon Preston.

Both the 9u and 10u travel to Lafayette this weekend to play in the Mavs Stampede.  Good luck boys.

11u summary
The 11’s won the championship in  a number of nail biter games.   Most of the games came down to a pitchers dual.    Chris Liberto, Noah Davis and JT Kendall all pitched very well.    The kids put in a great defensive performance and turned in a number of key hits.  Happy birthday to Alex Bayer.   The 11u will be playing in the Irish Spectacular this next weekend in Osceola, IN.

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered so much time to make the tournament a success.   Special thanks to Mike Fryar for all the field work.   Kids give your parents an extra hug this week for all they do for you.
