Nanette S. Farley, PT, DPT, CEEAA, GCS, joined Methodist Hospitals in February as Director of Rehabilitation Services. Nanette most recently served in a similar position at Ottumwa Regional Health Center where she managed a staff of up to 50. Her career has included patient care in a wide range of healthcare settings, such as correctional facilities, home health agencies and outpatient clinics, as well as pediatric and adult in-patient hospital units.
In addition to holding hospital leadership positions, she has served on the Government Affairs Committee of the California Physical Therapy Association and has volunteered in a variety of programs that treat underserved and remote communities and that provide instruction to physical therapy students.
Nanette holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University at Sacramento and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of the Pacific, Stockton. She is certified by the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy, the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and is certified as an Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) and as a Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS).
