Crisman kindergarten students were able to experience a little bit of how animals survive the harsh winter months of Indiana with the help of Jessica Spiess, Educator/Naturalist, from the Porter County Parks & Recreation Department. Students were able to touch the pelts of several different animals. They learned all about their eating and sleeping habits and how they cope with the different elements.
