The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Matt Stewart (Hobart, Ind.) is the conference's Men's Field Top Performer of the Week after their efforts during the week of April 7-13.
Stewart, a freshman, placed second in the high jump among 11 competitors at the Chicagoland Championships with a jump of 6 feet, 6 inches.
“Matt has had a wonderful outdoor season and we are both really excited for this honor. Matt is one of the top freshman high jumpers in the NAIA and I am really excited about his future I have a feeling that this won’t be his last CCAC honor”, said Head Coach Kevin Paterson.
